LOSS

Clarity about which choice is lifegiving…

LET IT BE WHAT IT IS.

MAKE IT SOMETHING ELSE.

 

 

SHOCK: Denial: it's not happening.    

COLLAPSE: Fall apart: go to pieces.

 

 

EMOTIONAL RELEASE:
Bursts of confused feelings.

NUMB: No feelings at all.

 

 

LONELINESS: Something is missing.

SHAME: Something is wrong with me.

 

 

PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS:
My body needs special attention. 

SERIOUS ILLNESS:
My body can't cope (chronic tension).

 

 

FEAR:
How will I cope with _____________?

ANXIETY:
What can go wrong, will … soon!

 

 

HUMILITY:
There's nothing I can do to change things.

GUILT:
It's my fault that this happened.

 

 

ANGER: This is not fair!
 It's a threat to my _______________.

BLAME:
It's all your fault. You'll be sorry!

 

 

SADNESS:
Your absence is painful. I miss you.

DEPRESSION:
Nothing feels good anymore.

 

 

HOPE:
I see life beyond this loss.

DESPAIR:
It's too late. It's all over.

 

 

ACCEPTANCE:
I have lost you and I'm alive and well.

CYNICISM:
Here's what's wrong with this…

 

 

GRATITUDE: Though you're gone,
you've enriched my life.

ISOLATION:
It's always me against the world.

 

 

THE TRUTH SETS ME FREE.

WHAT YOU RESIST, PERSISTS.
